062810: i made a mistake when when first moved into our home three years ago... i started to take off the wallpaper in the stairwell. it was impossible because the wall paper was glued directly onto a paper board. so now i put up my nephew's maps and drawings there until we can get new drywall put up in about ten years.

(you only see a very wee portion of it here. it was huge, expansive, inspiring in itself.)

061110: my nephew and i like to make these collaborative drawings. especially when he is antsy waiting for food to arrive at a restaurant. he draws something- i draw something. back and forth until our food arrives. this is a sort of creepy cowboy- pirate- skeleton with a serious speech impediment. (for some reason he's saying, "yes because i can't speak as good.") i don't like seeing A antsy but i so love it when we do this together.
