Cantaloupe, the people you meet on an adventure, macaroon friendship, an accidental photograph, on the grid, 15 drawings.

1. I have been making a drawing a day over the summer. Here are 15 that I was rearranged on my studio floor to see how they converse with each other.

2. I have been painting on giclee prints of photographs that I take of grids.

3. The accidental photograph. I have taken over our yellow dining room as another spot to make drawings.

4. Orange morning bun (from 40 Green Street Lunch), coffee for a perfect Sunday morning.

5. A most spectacular package arrived in the mail from a dear friend in Providence, RI. Inside the "Hide-a- Way" container were coconut macaroons. And the words in the note there just gave me tears of joy that I have the kind of friends that I do- true, generous, funny, grateful, creative.

6. Last Saturday, I went on an adventure with my good pal, Sean, to the Geoffrey Young Gallery in Great Barrington, MA. There we had great conversations with the delightful man himself, Geoff, along with another visitor, Cynthia Atwood, an artist. Cynthia's series "Bloom: A listening project 2010" are portraits of ears of those who have lent them to her are sweet and lovely and full of gratitude.

7. Fresh, delicious, juicy cantaloupe from our farm share.
