Mt. Washington Hotel, connections/ next, cast shapes and lines, beauty/ disruption, oatmeal cookies, staying warm, the fun visitor, Colorku

1. I played a new game that I got- Colorku (Sudoku but with nine colors instead of numbers).

2. Once I had heat and power, my nephew came over. Amongst other things, he watched cartoons, chewed an entire container of watermelon Juicy Fruit gum, and we drew a sleeve of tiger stripes on his arm.

3. Olga wrapped herself in a blanket to stay warm.

4. Somehow, before the power went out (over 2 days for us- a week for my mom 20 miles south), I managed to bake these oatmeal cookies. They are a favorite. It is good to have some favorite cookies for breakfast when you wake up to no heat.

5. As I drove back home from taking down my show in Providence, it started to snow. Leaving this beautiful scene along with a major disruption to our area- some areas are still without power a week later.

5. Three hovering paper sculptures that cast some lovely shapes and and lines.

6. I took down my show at the Sarah Doyle Gallery at Brown University. It's nice to see one's work altogether on some walls. Notice the connections and consider what might come next.

7. A few weekends ago, we were treated to a weekend stay at the Mt. Washington Hotel Resort. It was really beautiful and relaxing. Thanks to JMP's work!
